GBCCC is a safe environment that fosters mutual respect, nurturing and innovation. The Centre is dedicated to maintaining a positive atmosphere where confidence, creativity, respect and independence are encouraged, as well as instilling a love of learning in the children we teach.
Values
Child Development - we recognize the importance of early child development and follow the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) curriculum to ensure we are developing age appropriate activities for all of our programs.
Support - we value a supportive environment in which all children, staff and parents feel accepted, comfortable, safe and secure.
Play - we are a play-based Centre, recognizing the importance of learning through play and encouraging our children to explore and learn about their surroundings using their five senses.
Teamwork - we work together as a team to help the children to discover and embrace their individuality and their differences, as well as teaching them the importance of working together as a group and creating nurturing friendships.
